It has begun!!!

I have begun the process of writing my second book: The Walls Have Painted Eyes, The Story of the Mural Art of Michelle Loughery Building Connections Within Communities and People, based on my good friend and partner in crowdCONNX.com Michelle Loughery’s 25 years of combining her love for art with her want to help people, specifically youth at risk and communities through her mural artworks.

Keep an eye out here and on www.crowdCONNX.com as we will post regular updates on our progress as well as share some real stories from people whose lives were changed after having worked with Michelle on her many mural projects. These stories will also be shared in the our book so you will be getting some advanced pages for your reading pleasure!

I am honoured that Michelle asked me to be a part of this when the interest in her story grew. I am also thrilled to be putting pen to paper again (or keypad to computer code).

Reblogged this on crowdCONNX and commented:

We have begun writing the story of our co-founder Michelle Loughery! We’re looking for stories from the many people whose life’s she has touched with her work. Please message us at crowdconnx@gmail.com with your stories as we will be collecting them, sharing some here and some within the pages of her book!

I knew from the moment I met her she was special, unique and changing our society through art. Her plans and visions of social change fusing art as a tool grows us all, invest in her efforts and wisdom.
